- Dr. Dineen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology from the University of NC at Chapel Hill in 1975 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University in 1980. He has practiced in the Wilmington area since that time. Dr. Dineen opened his own practice in Leland, NC in 1988 and moved to the current location in Wilmington in 1991. Dr. Dineen served as program chairman and vice president of the NC Academy of Small Animal Medicine in 1985 and in 1986 became president. From 1987 to 1990, he served on the NC Veterinary Medical Association Board.
