Formed in 1981, Container Products Corp. is a worldwide supplier of containers, decontamination equipment, compactors and other radioactive handling equipment. Based in Wilmington, N.C., it caters to the nuclear and private sector industries and is a pioneer in development of metal containers for storage, transportation and disposal of radioactive waste and other hazardous and toxic materials. Providing manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance and testing facilities, the company offers patented products, including Seal Loc Clip (tamper-proof closure mechanism) and Kelly Decon Systems among others. The other products include waste reduction equipment, volume reduction systems, sorting systems, glove booths, fume hoods, custom designed systems and more. Container Products Corp. holds CRN, CE and GOST-R certifications on some of its designs.
