Do not hire !!!! We went to court for 2.5 hours , only to get the date continued and cost me $2500 ! My problem was resolved the following Monday so I notified them I would no longer be needing them and they said there was no remainder on my $2500 retainer !!!! Honestly robbed me !!!!!! $2500 for 2.5 hours !!!! To hell with these crooks ! Says $300 per hour in the contract !!!! Do the math !

I do not recommend this law firm. Conflicting information given several times from this law firms employees causing confusion and anxiety regarding my granddaughters custody case. Cost a lot of money wish we had tried someone else.

Do not use this firm to settle any disputes in child custody...Ms. Boyette's retainer is low; do not sign on based on this, by the time all was said and done, the entire process cost me over 13,000.00. All of the things that Ms. Boyette "claimed" she could get for me, never happened, and then later I discovered through the General Statutes that "things" like reimbursement of legal fees are rarely awarded by a judge. As a single mother, never married to the father of my son, I paid her a tremendous amount of money for a standard child custody decision...and was not reimbursed for any costs associated with the pregnancy: none of the maternity bills, hospital bills, nursery bills, or her exorbitant legal bills...all of which she told me the time she represented me , an unemployed single mother of a one year old, that she could get for me, haha. Find a competent attorney. Only in rare cases, with extenuating circumstances, will you be allowed anything out of the norm.
