In April my husband died unexpectedly. We had been divorced for 5 years and reunited for only six months but the Congo Family understood my pain and that of my step-daughters. They guided us through the funeral process and accepted the fact that we were not a traditional family that was making arrangements. They were professional and the fact that they met with us the day before the funeral to let us know how the proceedings would progress was helpful. When the attendants came down the aisle singing, "I'm free, thank God I'm free" I wasn't prepared for that but my soul said Halleluia.
