In response to this posting, I would like to elaborate. This customer, TJ, asked me how much it would cost to install brake pads if he purchased the parts. Although it isnt customary protocol for a customer to supply their own parts, I decided to do him a favor and quoted him $40, but explained that I needed to get a look at the vehicle. A few weeks later he showed up and I realized that just installing brake pads wouldnt fix his problem because one of the calipers was damaged. I could have just taken his money, but I didnt want to simply replace brake pads because the brakes still wouldnt function properly or safely. I explained this to TJ and gave him a new quote to properly repair the brakes which included replacing calipers. He became upset and started using profanity. He told me that he recently had his calipers replaced. I suggested to him that he return the car to the shop that fixed that his calipers and have them repaired on warranty. I am an ASE and GM certified auto technician with over 20 years of experience. I take pride in my work, and insist that all vehicles be repaired properly. I would rather lose a sale than send a customer out with a vehicle that isnt safe and only half-repaired. I am sorry that TJ felt he was treated unfairly, but his safety was my primary concern. Please see my Facebook page for testimonials from many satisfied customers.

I can't believe this guy is still in business. Every time I drive by the place is dead. His open sign is on 24hrs a day. I stopped in to have brake pads replaced. He gave me an estimate. The next week I set up an appointment. When I dropped my car off the estimate went up by 40 bucks and he didn't even look at the car yet! I dropped it off anyway which was my first mistake. 30 min later he calls and says it needs rotors. I say ok and then 10 min later he calls saying it needs both calipers. Now I know he's crazy because I had both calipers replace last year!! I say put my car back together your full of s***! I take it to a different place and he said and showed me everything was fine! I had a faulty brake warning indicator!!! WOW Anthony's Discount Auto Repair doesn't know what he's doing!!!
