I purchased a Thermostat from Fireside that was battery operated for my Heath & Glo Fireplace. I was never told the temperate rangeof thermostat was + or - 2 degres or, by the way, it has a short battery life. I use the gas fireplace as aback up to my furnace in case it goes out at my lake house. The furnace failed and the back Thermostat on the gas fire place went dead after only about 7 months after being installed. When I called them for help or advise or at least some idea's of what might be a better solution to a + or - 2 degree thermostat, they were at loss for advise and and told me they sold me the best they had. I dont see them as service oriented, only sales oriented. In other words, go pay for your $3,600 frozen pipe bill and dont bother me with your repair problem. We only sell products. Jim L
