The Williston Fire Department is managed by the Town of Williston in Vermont. The department is responsible for providing fire suppression and primary medical services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It maintains a fleet of engines, cars, snowmobiles and rescue vehicles. The Williston Fire Department also issues burning permits. The department offers fire prevention education solutions in collaboration with schools, day care facilities and civic groups. In addition, it manages an emergency medical service division that provides off-road rescue and transportation solutions. The Williston Fire Department employs a staff of more than 70 people and responds to over 3,000 calls annually.
