Summit Technologies, based in in Williston VT, enables and empowers wireless mobility. We specialize in Radio Frequency ( RF ) Engineering as it applies to high-speed wireless networking and cellular networks. Summit's expertise lies in the design, deployment and support of enterprise-class Wireless Local Area Networks ( WLANs ), Wide Area Networks ( WWANs ), Metro Area Networks ( WMANs ), large-scale WiFi hotzones, secure wireless guest access, cellular enhancement and site management. Over the years, we have developed a refined suite of project management, design, implementation, support, maintenance and monitoring expertise to produce the most cost-effective, robust, wireless networks possible. Summit has a long history of successful project management. We routinely work with PMI certified and Six Sigma planners within large projects. Summit has utilized the resources of the PMI Institute and Project Management Body of Knowledge ( PMBOK ) to insure the proper initiating, planning, executing, controlling, monitoring and closing of successful projects. Summit provides ongoing support for all its installations and provides SLA's to fit the client needs. We provide 24x7 monitoring, notification and response if necessary, with the ability to remotely control, reboot, and reconfigure our wireless networks. Summit also provides assessment and mitigation services for pre-existing wireless implementations ; we have knowledge of many types of older equipment. Summit follows all local and State building and safety codes and a strict set of protocols. We conduct regular safety training and are well versed in proper methodologies for roof and wall penetrations, fire codes and plenum ratings, and proper bonding and grounding. Summit conforms to best practice networking and security standards, as trained by Cisco, including wire management, labeling and documentation.
