Located in Willimantic, Conn., CLINICAL DAY TREATMENT is a part of Natchaug Hospital, which is a nonprofit organization and was founded in 1954. The organization provides community-based services for individuals with psychiatric illness, chemical dependency and emotional and educational disabilities. Its day hospital, after school and education programs provide treatment for more than 1,200 children, adolescents and adults annually. Natchaug Hospital provides a range of inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment services. The organization is accredited by The Joint Commission and its education programs are approved by Connecticut's Bureau of Special Education. It organizes various seminars and conferences on behavioral health topics. Natchaug Hospital provides partial hospital and intensive outpatient day treatment programs. It partners with Behavioral Health Connecticut, Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut, Community Prevention & Addiction Services Day and Kimball Hospital.
