Williamsport Bureau of Police is administered by the city government of Williamsport in Pennsylvania. The bureau is responsible for providing safety and security in the community through various law enforcement services. Williamsport Bureau of Police coordinates the Wise Options Domestic Violence Program, which provides shelter, counseling and advocacy services to abused partners and their children. It also maintains K-9 and mounted patrol units. The bureau in partnership with Lycoming County Drug Task Force is engaged in the prevention of drug trafficking and abuse in Lycoming County in Pennsylvania. Williamsport Bureau of Police handles various issues related to the violation of constitutional and traffic law, as well as undertakes criminal, juvenile and forensic investigations.
