What a camera store used to be and ought to be. Rob Colley and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and consistently happy to share their extensive expertise, accumulated in perhaps 70 years as family owned and run business. They enjoy their work and are as welcoming and service-oriented to the Sunday snapshooter as they are to the serious amateurs, pros and academic and fine-art types they serve. And, no, I'm not related to Rob and have no financial interest in this business. I'm just an old-line photographer who's tired of stores that aren't interested in quality, are condescending with little basis for it, or just don't understand the concepts of courtesy and reliability. This is a gem of an operation - I'm just sorry there are so few like them any more. If you really love photography, you owe it to yourself to visit them.

The owner went above and beyond. He went out of his way to help me, even though I didn't even end up purchasing anything. Incredibly friendly, and understanding. I will definitely recommend to all of my friends and will purchase all future cameras or accessories here, even if it means driving an hour and a half from State College.
