Queens Lake Middle School, opened in 1966, is a public school that has a staff of nearly 40 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that include reading coaches, guidance counselors, special educators, media specialists and physical education instructors. Its core curriculum includes science, trade and industrial studies, English, math, foreign languages, history, physical education, and family and consumer science. In addition, Queens Lake Middle School offers classes in drama, art, chorus, typing, band and media. The school maintains the Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Odyssey of the Mind and Student Council Association. Queens Lake Middle School is a part of the York County School Division and is located in Williamsburg, Va. It serves more than 540 students in grades six through eight.
