JP Counseling believes in positive, compassionate, and supportive methods. Founder, Jan Barrymore, believes in providing a safe environment for adults and adolescents to heal and develop the necessary skills to enable them to face life's challenges in an effective manner. You and Jan will work together to identify the reason you have decided to come to counseling, and seek out your positive traits and strengths and talk about how these strengths can be used to work through the issues that have caused distress. JP Counseling believes in short term counseling. Jan encourages her clients to work in session and at home, thereby shortening the time invested in coming to counseling.
