In ALL honesty, I cannot even rate the Lotus Inn due to the antics they play. I have no problem with its NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES. But, don't you hate it when there is one though, one of our group does smoke and was FORCED to go into the street like a hooked for her to enjoy a cigarette. The rooms were dirty, the dish cabinets stunk to high heaven, I took a dish out to use and nacho chips flew out of the dish, there were ages old Cheerios on the floor in front of the kitchen sink and in front of the dresser in the bedroom. The air conditioner in my room, room 109, came on every 10 - 15 minutes and made the noise a plane makes when it revs up on the tarmac for takeoff! Did I get sleep....NO. Every time it saved up I only lay there wondering where I was going to land next. There was lights out at 11pm. All of our friends were waiting for a room check because the owner was sneaking behind walls listening and watching everything we were saying and doing. When we asked him why the lights were out so early, his reply was, " There is a streetlight on the corner lit. " The pool opened at 10am and closed at. . .7pm! We were a group of 8. Will any of us ever return there. . NO! They, the owners, are not friendly, they don't even thank you when you check out. Another woman was sitting outside of her room with the room door open and the owner just went past her and into her room! The maid told the owner that she smelled smoke when she cleaned the room that morning. The following morning she approached the maid. The maid said she didn't do that. So the creepy owner, a male, just decided he had a right to just barge into her room and sniff the room. Turns out the smell was from coffee grinds. So I guess that he might go into rooms when people are away at the beach or whatnot! If you are looking for a place that is run by gastopos then this is the place for you. But if you are looking for a place you can relax and enjoy yourself on your vacation, then this is NOT the place to go. One last note....there are no smoke detectors or sprinkler system in the rooms. I do not know how they even got a 2 star rating from AAA. They don't even deserve a -100! I only clicked one star because it would not allow me to post this at all unless I did.

The Lotus Inn in Wildwood Crest clearly earns a 5-star review. This venue was absolutely fabulous. While an older property, the facility and room was immaculate; well taken care of. The view from the spacious balcony of the Atlantic was breathtaking. The room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen provided everything you could possibly want, except for food and beverages. The free continental breakfast was very good. The heated pool with a very nice waterfall was well maintained and very clean. Parking was convenient. Cannot say enough good things about the owner and staff; very friendly, helpful, eager and willing to go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Very quiet and family oriented place. Perfectly located at the southern entrance to the Wildwood boardwalk. Adjacent to the ocean and very easy access to the beach; best in Wildwood proper. Plan to return many times.

The hotel room was spacious and immaculate. The staff went out of their way to accommodate every need. The view was awesome. I have stayed at probably 30 different hotels here and this is definitely the best

This is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in Wildwood Crest. The staff is wonderful, very helpful. Great views, free continental breakfast, and comfy beds. Nice pool with a relaxing waterfall. Quiet! No loud music allowed! many rules, but grateful for them. The grills are maintained daily. Will stay there again !

We've (there's 4 of us) stayed here many times and will continue to in the future. It is always a pleasure coming to the Lotus Inn: from the friendly staff to the incredibly spotless rooms. The views of the ocean are spectacular! The beds are very comfortable, the pool is fabulous.......and they even grills for your use. We are looking forward to going back!

We have been coming to the Lotus Inn for years. It's our home away from home. The owners, Lori and Tom, and Judy in the office, as well as all the housekeeping staff work tirelessly at accommodating everyone's special needs, and do so with courtesy and efficiency. The entire property is immaculate. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. We've stayed in many different ones over the years, including the townhouse with friends. The best views of the ocean are from the higher floors. Clean, quiet, comfort for reasonable rates. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. You will love it here!

I will always stay in one of their ocean front rooms. Wonderful, clean, updated rooms and you can't beat the wonderful views of the beach and ocean for a fair price. The entire staff is really great, from the office staff to the housekeeping staff, they are always helping to make our stay amazing. Wildwood Crest, NJ couldn't ask for a better hotel & staff.

My family always feels like we are at home at the Lotus Inn. The owners, Lori and Tom, along with Judy try and accommodate us when making reservations. This year we had an additional person traveling with us and Lori suggested we upgrade to a three bedroom townhouse. It was wonderful! My family asked me why we didn't do this years ago! I can't imagine Wildwood Crest without staying at the Lotus Inn. We have now decided as a family to budget for a longer stay next year! Looking forward to it!!!

My husband and I stayed in Lotus hotel for 5 days at the end of June. Lotus hotel is one of the best hotels in Wildwood crest. The hotel is quiet, safe and super clean. The rooms are very spacious. Lorry, the manager of the hotel, is very nice and makes sure that her customers are happy and satisfied with the service. The Chamber of Commerce recommended the hotel to me because I was looking for a quiet place. Lorry even asked me how was my first night in the hotel. In all the years that I spent in so many hotels, nobody asked me if my room is good. Managers would take the money and would not care about you in many places. All the hotel?s employees are helpful, nice and courteous. The hotel is located in a safe and quiet place. It?s a smoke free hotel and the beds are very comfortable. What a great and clean place to stay while visiting the shore. A great value for a clean large room so close to the beach and many other attractions. From the time we arrived we were made to feel like family. We will defiantly be back again. We travel often and have stayed at some big name hotels and they don't even compare to the Lotus Inn. It is like going home to see family. A++++

Every year we'd like to go to Wildwood Crest for a 3 or 4 day weekend getaway. We always like to stay at Lotus Inn. This became a favorite part or our mini vacation. We'd like to get an Ocean front room with a private balcony. Great selection. Hotel management usually likes to accommodate us with our requests even on a short notice. Nice rooms, comfortable, clean, well kept. Very nice location and all around good family place. Great management, nice people. I highly recommend this hotel to everybody. You'll definitely get your money's worth.

My family has been going to the Lotus Inn, for many years, and now i go when i can, and comeback up from Florida. May not be every year, but whn i do come up, i'll always plan on stayin at the Lotus Inn. Very friendly/ polite, and my needs are always met. Clean hotel, awesome view, over lookin the beach (depends on ur room). I love the ppl who work there, and love the atmosphere.

It is a great stay - right at the beach - many package options to choose from - close to everything - great staff - great accomodations - very clean - we try and go twice a year - early June and then again in September. My wife and I have stayed at the Lotus Inn for the last 10 years. Very clean, non-smoking hotel. Very friendly owners and employees. Beautiful pool. Close to the beach.

We've been going to Wildwood Crest for years, and have become regulars at the Lotus Inn. Lori and Tom (and their front desk staff) are WONDERFUL...the accommodations are clean and well kept...the well maintained pool is our grandchildren's favorite thing...the cleaning and maintenance teams are very efficient and friendly...wireless capabilities and other amenities such as continental breakfast are free...and, the room rates are reasonable in and out of season (yes, we do go there before, during, and after the usual "summer season," and we've been in every type of room they offer).
