KWCH 12 is a CBS television affiliate station in Wichita, Kan., that can be viewed throughout central and western Kansas. In Dodge City, Kan., the station may be seen as KBSD 6; in Hays, Kan., the station can be seen as KBSH 7; and in Goodland, Kan., the station may be viewed on channel KBSL 10. While most of the programming on this CBS affiliate is standard CBS programming, such as 60 Minutes and The Early Show, local Kansas newscasts air in the early morning and at 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. Newscasts take place in the Wichita studio and are anchored by Cindy Klose, Roger Cornish, Merrel Teller and Bruce Haertl, but the station also employs reporters stationed in Hays, Goodland and Dodge City. In order to properly report on the vibrant aeronautical industry headquartered in Wichita, the station employs Cliff Judy, an aviation reporter.
