Reviews
My elderly parents bought a mobility van from Jay Hatfield less than a year ago when my mother was diagnosed with ALS. 11 months later, mom has passed and Jay Hatfield is more than willing to buy the van back at nearly 1/2 what they charged my parents for it. Condition is as good as it was when sold for $32,000 with less than 5,000 miles added to it and they offer $17,000. The only thing wrong with the van is that Jay Hatfield disposed of the passenger seat. Dealer installed a wheelchair lock when mom got her chair, but they disposed of the seat. So now we have a van that Jay Hatfield won't buy back at a fair price and a van that does not have a passenger seat. Be very wary dealing with this company. I think they took advantage of my mother's situation to make a fast buck. They've also lied about the van seat saying my elderly father took possession of it. Then changed story to say they delivered to the house. Another lie because it's not there. I'll close by saying that the only reason I gave them one star is because Superpages won't let me grade them lower. If you are in need of a van, shop around, there are other dealers in Wichita, this dealership is not to be trusted.
My Aunt had a chair lift installed in the stairwell of her home in order to go downstairs. Extremely fast and efficient workers. Kevin is the one we placed the order with and was very polite, kind and informative. The work staff who installed the equipment was extremely smart. My Aunt has used the chair lift to go to the basement and do her laundry and will use it in case of severe weather. She is extremely pleased. I recommend these people, they have a wide variety of products available if you are disabled.

If you're working with the Jay Hatfield in Wichita, don't work with or talk to a guy named Red. Not nice, very rude, unwilling to help or guide in the right direction of what to buy or what might work better than what you are hoping or wanting to do.
