The food was great, as always our service was a little lackluster, nothing that will prevent a repeat evening!

A treasure tucked away in the heart of Wichita. But this is the kind of treasure that once you have discovered it, you will want to share it with everyone you meet. The service is phenominal and the food is exquisite. Very high class feeling without the inflated prices. I will never forget when the owner asked us about our evening plans and then proceeded to let the waitstaff and the kitchen know that we had theatre tickets, so make sure we get out on time.

WONDERFUL... the place "looks expensive" when one walks in... NICE ambiance in old historic Wichita, plenty of nattily dressed staff! The best was yet to come one had to take a "double take" when presented the menu (Pound Sterling?), the prices were very gentle! The food was outstanding, melt in your mouth beef and generous portions too! THIS place is JUST perfect for entertaining out of town guests! A place to HIGHLIGHT the best of Wichita... fine "taste" and "class" with (tha darn "practical" midwestern economy)!

Cafe Bel Ami is one of Wichita's hidden secrets. (They are located just off Douglas St.) Their style is Meditteranean, with a North African influence. Recommend the lamb
