I do not have any relations with Citbank. I went in to verify funds and cash a check. I was told I had to go to my bank and deposit the check in order to cash it. Long story short. The check was fraudulent. I went to another Citibank branch. Immediately they knew and that saved me the expense of having issues with my checking account if I had taken the advise of the first teller and deposited it into my account.

if you think you are calling Whittier branch you are very mistaken. I am not sure if this call is even in US. When I asked for a direct phone i could not get it; I was connected via this number. Why banks do not want to talk to their clients?
