Established in 1983 in Auburn, Mass., Auburn Merchandise Distributors began its growth to become a leader in its wholesale industry. The company moved to Whitinsville, Mass., in a 130,000-square-foot facility that has a supply of candy, grocery, tobacco products and frozen foods. Auburn Merchandise Distributors also manages nonfood items such as store supplies, automotive products, health and beauty care supplies and general merchandise to thousands of customers in New England. It is a subsidiary of Warren Equities, which is holding company for several separate entities marketing petroleum, grocery items and tobacco products throughout the Northeast.
