      About Our Practice... By "mixed practice" we mean that the practice treats many different kinds of animals: farm animals, horses, companion pets and laboratory animals; the doctors themselves specialize in either large animal or pet practice. We are a well-established practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. Whitewater Veterinary Hospital was established when Dr. Lee Allenstein bought the practice from Dr. Marsh in 1950. He was soon joined by Dr. Fritz Engel and it evolved to the mixed practice it is today.
