People were nice, work shoddy. Highly disappointed. I went in for a new clutch. i noticed it felt strange and had mechanic try it, he thought it felt fine but needed to seat in. i took it home, Gear shift got looser and looser over the next few weeks, eventually barely functional. They tightened it, denied any association with clutch job. charged me. Now my transmission is gone. It has been a while but a few unrelated mechanics claim this is most probably due to the clutch job, a down pin broke or it was not put in correct, won't know without expensive disassembly. I phoned Millers this PM, he said clutches feel different when replaced and dowel pins are not necessary so i one breaks no problem, car's old (it is but the others unanimously agreed subaru standard trans don't spontaneously break and clutch needing "seating" is suspect. i cannot afford to find out for sure, but owner sounded polite, but not concerned on phone today when i described this.
