- Dental ExaminationAn oral examination is a visual inspection of the mouth, head, and neck, performed to detect abnormalities. Radiographs allow for a more complete examination, helping the doctor to detect cavities, problems in existing dental restorations, gum and bone recession or other abnormal conditions within the mouth, head and neck area.
- Teeth CleaningA dental cleaning, also known as an oral prophylaxis, is the removal of dental plaque and tartar (calculus) from the teeth. Specialized instruments are used to gently remove these deposits without harming the teeth. First, an ultrasonic device that emits vibrations and is cooled by water is used to loosen larger pieces of tartar. Next, hand tools are used to manually remove smaller deposits and smooth the tooth surfaces. Once all the tooth surfaces have been cleaned of tartar and plaque, the teeth are polished.

- Resin CompositeBonding – Bonding is a cosmetic treatment that involves using natural-looking composite resin material to improve the appearance of a tooth that is chipped or discolored.
- Gold RestorationsInlays and Onlays are porcelain or gold restorations which are used in the restoration of decayed, broken or cracked teeth when sufficient remaining tooth structure is available. They are more conservative of tooth structure than full coverage crowns. The process is similar to a crown – it is a two step procedure. At the first visit, the tooth or teeth are prepared (shaved down) and an impression is made. A temporary restoration is placed while the permament restoration is being fabricated. During the second visit, the permanent restoration is carefully fitted and cemented in place for a permanent restoration.
- VeneersWith our expertise, advanced technology and knowledge, we can help you visualize and attain the beautiful smile you want. Using one procedure, such as veneers, or perhaps a combination of procedures, we can transform your smile and help you have the confidence that comes with knowing your smile looks great!
- CrownsComputer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Milling (CAM) offers advanced treatment options with less waiting time for a restoration. Depending on the procedure(s) being performed, your dental restoration(s) may be able to be placed on the same day or next day instead of the usual wait of one to two weeks or more. Using a special scanner the office can take a digital impression without using traditional trays, improving patient comfort. The restoration(s) is then designed using advanced computer 3D technology that can analyze the interaction of the new restoration with your other teeth. A new crown can be milled out of a solid piece of tooth colored composite material providing strength that may surpass that of many crowns produced in a dental lab. Advancements in materials and technology have provided many options for great restorations that can both look great, provide superior strength compared to other restorations, and reduce the need for multiple visits to the office.
- BridgesCAD/CAM is an acronym that stands for computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing. CAD/CAM technology is used to help the dental team fabricate precise shapes and sizes for dental restorations including inlays, onlays, crowns and bridges. This technology provides patients with durable, esthetic, well-fitted single and multiple tooth restorations in a more efficient manner. The first step in using CAD/CAM technology is tooth preparation. Next, a digital impression is taken that sends the prepared tooth’s exact dimensions into a computer.

- DenturesDentures and partials will often need several adjustments in order to fit comfortably. To help yourself adjust to your dentures you can practice reading aloud for a little while each day. Dentures should be removed overnight or for at least 6 hours a day to give your mouth and gums time to rest. At night you should remove your dentures and clean them. They should be stored in a clean container filled with denture cleaning solution. Food particles can become trapped under dentures causing inflammation or sore spots. Lightly brush the roof of your mouth, your tongue, and your gums after removing your dentures. You may have discomfort for a few days after receiving your final dentures or partials.
- Dental ImplantsI am extremely involved in the dental profession. My passion is education. I have chaired every aspect of continuing education for the regional NY State Dental Association. I am the past president of one of two internationally recognized, regional prosthodontic organizations and served on the Board of Directors of the other. I have chaired the American College of Prosthodontists Education Foundation and chair its Task Force to support funding for all prosthodontic residents. I am privileged to lecture extensively on dental implants and dental esthetics to dentists, post-graduate prosthodontic residents and laboratory technicians throughout the East coast.

- Orthodontics
- Invisalign OrthodonticsInvisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth.

- General DentistryAfter college at Ohio Wesleyan University and Temple University Dental School, I completed a residency at the Westchester County Medical Center. I practiced general dentistry with my dad for 7 years. I was fortunate to then continue my education with a 4 year course of study at NYU and became a Board eligible prosthodontic specialist. From that moment, it has been a sensationally, gratifying professional/life-fulfilling journey.
