What joke of a doctor's office! Phillips has been my husbands doctor nearly 5 years now, three weeks ago he started going in for having a bad headache and dizziness. Phillips proceeded to yank him around for three weeks, prescribing new medications each week, when the other meds failed to work. AT one point he prescribed a med that was related to morphine, AFTER my husband had told him that he as allergic to morphine. So now in addition to the headache and dizziness he has a host of new problems brought on by the bad meds. THEN he finally decides to send him to a neurologist, who can't see him for another month! Upon asking why he didn't get referred to a different neurologist his VERY rude blonde nurse informed me that he doesn't get along with the other doctor, but she would talk to him about it with him after he gets back from his WEEK long vacation. So in a week we would know something. Here's my something, we are leaving this clinic in our dust. Do not go there. Ever.

Recently began work in the White Hall area and contacted Dr. Phillips office so that I would have a family doctor nearby in case of emergencies and in regards to convenience. The scheduling clerk asked if I would be a new patient and followed that question with "have you ever taken pain medication"? I answered that I had, in the past, taken pain medications for a back injury at which point the clerk informed me that they could not write prescriptions for pain medications and that I would need to see another doctor as they could not accept me as a new patient. I was not requesting drugs of any kind. Therefore, I can only conclude that new patients are looked upon as "drug seeking junkies" who receive care from a skeptical MD who may or may not believe their symptoms are real. Therefore this doctor is basically a nurse practitioner who'd be happy to take your money as long as the diagnosis doesn't involve pain relief. I'll spend my money elsewhere.
