This is a "Thank You" that is way overdue. I was in the Persian Gulf War in '90-91 when I picked out one of the many Any Service member letters that came thru. It was from a group of children wanting to thank us for our service and to understand what it was that we were doing. I have to say that King's Daughters went above and beyond expectations for making a home sick Airman feel appreciated. Not only did I receive care packages, but my parents received a packet from the staff and kids. I still have the letters that packet and will cherish it. I want to thank them for taking the time to teach these children a valuable lesson in life, and realizing that there is more to life than ones self and we all (even our tough service men/women) need a caring letter of "Thanks" from someone. I want to thank, Jodi, Karen, Doris, and the children of Room 2 for your letters and thoughts, I hope someday I can thank you in person........Steve
