I don't usually write reviews but was dismayed at the criticism. Aqua Knot built my pool 3 years ago and did a truly superior job, even fixing some things done wrong by other subcontractors I hired. I picked Aqua Knot because I had 5 other friends who'd had them build their pools over the last 10 years. I can't say enough good things about working with everyone from the knowledgeable and pleasant management to skilled workers who show up in your yard. I've recommended them to many others.

Aquaknots are very unknowldegeable when it comes to pool opening and repairs. As part of a pool opening they are suppose to get the pool running and clean the filter. The service man attempted to make the job easier for himself by telling us the filter does not need cleaning when it clearly needs cleaning. Did not get the job done and did not fix anything

Google'd Aquaknot while trying to get to their on-line store and came across this. Aquaknot built and/or serviced my pool and others in my neighborhood for years. The service has been great. It seems that the bad reviews are from people that expect to remove the cover from a swamp of a pool and see it magically turn clean and clear. In years past, I paid other companies(while trying to save a buck) to open or close my pool and then paid them separately,to clean it. Trust me cheaper isn't necessarily better. They've always been helpful and responsive. Food for thought, if they are that bad why are there no legitimate gripes on the BBB. [That's the next website down the list when you google their name].

This place is awful - please do not give your business to them! The guys that came in my yard to work were very polite and knowlegeable - it's the management in this complany that is horrible. They are rude, over charge, and make you feel like they do not need your business - give your money to people who actually care about customer service!~ I just feel bad for the guys who have to work for these people.

These guys are unorganized and unprofessional. We scheduled an opening and they did the minimal amount of work AND pulled the cover off sloughing all the dirt, leaves and sludge into the pool! We decided to schedule a vacuuming at that point and they never showed up! When we called to ask about it, the secretary said "we don't to that" - after seven phone calls and a week of frustration it turns out they do "do that" they just don't take new vacuuming jobs after April ... which would have been nice to know three weeks ago. Aweful customer service and they definitely make it known they don't need your business.
