General Info

Dr. Certo is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, he then earned his medical degree from the University of Rome in Italy. After his undergrad in Italy, he completed a five-year residency in General Surgery in the United States. Dr. Certo is board-certified and recertified in General Surgery. Dr. Certo has been a practicing surgeon in many of the Pittsburgh area hospitals since completing his residency. He joined Circulatory Centers of America, now USA Vein Clinics, in 1997 and has performed over 1000 vein procedures in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Dr. Certo is also an active member of the American College of Phlebology.
