Tara Halpin, APRN, Cardiology Tara earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut in Storrs and Quinnipiac University in North Haven, CT. Afterward she went on to earn her graduate degree at University of Connecticut School of Nursing in Storrs. Tara is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Taraâ??s interests are in general cardiology and cardiac health. She looks to improve patientsâ?? lives through medicine, diet, and education. Her experience as a registered nurse has made Tara a good listener who connects with her patients and is able to thoroughly provide the care they need.
