I like this family owned/operated business as they are focused on true old fashioned customer service and IMO have high integrity.



Upon moving to CT, we were overwhelmed by teaser rates for our first oil tank fill up. These rates came with various service contracts and I would caution one to read the fine lines. Cancel a contract at any time /for any reason (i.e. relocation, job loss etc) and you will be assessed a $600 fee!



Rhode simply charges market rates at given time - no contracts required. The bigger benefit is that Rhode held true to their word when it came to servicing - which our 4 yr old oil burner needed no less than 3 times last winter. Rhode came on the drop of a dime, charged COST for any needed parts, quickly addressed the issue and repaired correctly the first. Plus they didn't charge for their labor. That's what I call service. I would have to believe that an emergency winter service call to most HVAC service providers would have resulted in some serious $$ outlay.
