I went on to attain my MD degree at Temple University School of Medicine, where I found myself drawn to both surgery and dermatology; the importance of the tactile and visual in these specialties made them a natural fit for me. As a result, I completed a year of specialty training as a general surgeon at Temple before doing my dermatology residency and chief residency at Yale School of Medicine-New Haven Hospital.
