The Somerset County Board of Education is the governing body of Somerset County Public Schools, which serves more than 3,300 students through several elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools offer educational programs in music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, physical education and computer technology. Somerset County Public Schools provides developmental and systematic programs that promote academic, personal, social and career development of all students. Its schools offer a variety of athletic activities, including football, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, baseball, softball, cross-country, and track and field. In addition, each district school has a library that provides curriculum-related materials and a variety of free reading options for students.
