Established in 1972, Weston Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as social studies, mathematics, English and science. It offers special education programs for students with learning disabilities. The school provides instruction in Spanish, art, music, and computer and physical education. Weston Middle School also offers guidance counseling and health care services. The school manages a parent-teacher organization that conducts meetings and events. It provides sports activities, such as cross-country, basketball, gymnastics, wrestling, volleyball, swimming, and track and field. The school operates Short Wharf, which is an after-school musical theater club program. Its library information center offers a range of books encyclopedias, periodicals, radio transcripts and video clips. Weston Middle School is a part of Weston Public Schools.
