Pooja Shah is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She specializes in working with adults and couples. Dr. Shah received her master's and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She received her Master's in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Shah utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), CognitiveBehavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to provide quality and evidenced based care. Dr. Shah hopes to help you learn to manage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and help you experience success and satisfaction with your health, relationship and life goals. Dr. Shah specializes in treating adult individuals and couples. Her areas of specialty include addiction, male depression and sex therapy. She treats a variety of difficulties, including but not limited to difficulties with addiction, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, relationships, life stage transitions, grief and loss and trauma.
