Provided by YP.comMy experience with Smart Pain in Westminster, MD has been nothing but excellent. From the time you walk into the office, setting with the receptionist, who is very organized and friendly, to waiting to see the doctors is nothing but pleasant. Sometimes one has to wait a bit, but never longer than a half hour. I have always been treated with respect and kindness regarding the problems I have had with pain.

Provided by YP.comMy experience with smart pain management was awful - absolutely awful. I was w/company for six years and switched to smart pain because my dr left and went there. It is a terrible company run by horrible staff. I got upset because my portal was deleted and tried to ask for adj and they term me simply because of that. NO drug test or pill count & I saw my dr @ Catonsville.. I simply wanted my insurance dates coordinated because it was becoming too much to make so many trips to the pharm --office manager was a real witch, spoke for dr when she term me rather than let me switch drs. While I trusted dr at previous firm, I did not here - being told if I didn't agree w/him about anything that he would term me - don't see Dr. Rodriguez there He was good at American Spine but not here and that was w/some issues. He can be a good dr - but @ smart pain no - only for CYA. Further, the info in summary false and company has no process for investigating complaints or recourse for patient

Provided by YPmobileThe front office staff are the only saving grace here. They accused a 76 year old woman who can't get out on her own of having prescriptions felled by another doctor. When she got hysterical and called me in (RN caregiver) I reassured them that I manage all meds and prescriptions. That PA apologized but the damage to the relationship waa done. I asked for another provider who pulled the same thing, telling this woman that she could not return after this vis8t. I demanded to see the report and after a 2 hr wait received a print out that attributed one of the prescriptions that theyes had written to our PCP They made no effort to check this out so I went straight to our PCP who called the pharmacy and provided a letter to Smart Pain. Their excuse is that they have too many patients to check that out and were going by a gov't monitoring report. I would suggest that if they have too many patients to research an accusation before discharging someone who has a chronic illness and severe pain...myths need NO patients. Now we must start again with another practice. They should be ashamed

Provided by YP.comIf I could give this place a negative I would. I went in for help with chronic upper back pain, and before I could even see a Doctor they maid me take a urine drug test. I should have walked out then, but I thought it would be simple...instead I find out they sent that sample out and I got a bill for 1700. For a test that wasn't even medically significant. I am not on any drugs. The office now won't even give me a copy of the results with out a lot of hassle and a $15 charge. This on top of a dirty unpleasant office!
