We specialize in Wedding and Engagement photography, Pregnancy Portraiture, Newborn Photography, Baby Photography, Child Portraiture, Couples Portraits, Family Portraits, Senior Portraits, Pet Photography, Special Event Coverage, and Headshots. Your session may be booked on location of your choice or for comfort, in your own home with our mobile studio which can ideal for pregnancy, newborn, and baby sessions. The sessions are packed full of fun and laughter. We strive to make you comfortable in front of the camera to capture your true beauty.

General Info
I have successfully managed a photography studio since 2004, and now I am at a perfect time in my life for venturing out on my own. I decided to open up a photo studio in 2012. I have my own vision and style that will shine through the images captured. With years of experience and an education in both film and digital photography, capturing your special moments in time is my passion.

My fiance and I took our engagement photos at the beach. Melody made it so easy for us to be in front of the camera. My fiance doesn't like to have his picture taken but she made him relax enough for him to enjoy himself. The pictures came out great!
A Shutter in Time Photography is highly recommended. Melody took picures of our two kids and they turned out so great. I was nervous because my boys are a little on the crazy side, and I thought at the session that we didn't get anything, but when I saw the pictures, Melody captured their true personalities and I was blown away. I was having trouble not getting all of them. The portrait quality was great when we got them and she is so affordable for the quality that we received. I was shocked. I know we will be back to A Shutter in Time for all the important family phots we will need in the future.
