Wanted to do a good deed by donating.
They picked up my items in addition to the items that were delivered to my house that day. I ordered a dress overnighted to be delivered Friday so it could be worn to an event on Saturday. Well Purple Heart took the fedex package “cause it was really hard to decifer it wasn’t a giveaway” so they are now closed for the day and are not open on weekends. I even called corporate with no help. I will call back Monday and see if they can find it:-/

I totally agree with 'steamed'! Purple Heart did not pickup all my items, even though I had checked on what would be picked up when I called. They picked through and took some, but not my perfectly good printer with all cables. So I too was misinformed me about types of items they would consider. A waste of my time and effort to package up the printer! Never again.

A caller set up an appointment for pickup to be outside by 8am today. It is now 5pm and my donation is sitting in a downpour. of rain I am 86 & handicapped. This required considerable effort on my part. This is not the first time this has happened - but it will certainly be the last!. There is no excuse for being so unreliable.
