CITGO Petroleum Corporation specializes in manufacturing, marketing and transporting gasoline, jet turbine fuel and diesel fuel. However, there is more to CITGO than just fuel. The company also manufactures and processes heating oils, lubricants, refined waxes, soft drinks, petrochemicals, asphalt and even sunflower seeds. With deep conversion refineries strategically located in Texas, Louisiana and Illinois, CITGO has the capacity to refine more than 1 million barrels of crude oil per day. With its headquarters in Houston, CITGO is owned by PDV America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Petr leos de Venezuela, the national oil company of the Bolivian Republic of Venezuela.
