Honestly, the last review sounds like it came from a staff member as an advertisement instead of a review. I've been in the store once & plan to go again at least one more time to see if my first impression was accurate. The prices are a bit high, especially for accessories i.e used purses/shoes. I inquired about the return policy & it is 7 days. Never have tried it but wanted to know. Also inquired about bringing in items & they are very specific on how to do so. Must be laundered, neatly folded in boxes or bags with flat bottoms such as reuseable bags that can sit flat on the counter..no trash bags accepted. The staff does seem to feel as if you are shopping in a high end retail store but I figured they are trying to present them selves professionally in case a big spender walks through the door. I hope my next visit will give me a warmer feel for the place & what they claim to be & not a wannabe Macy's stuck in a Kmart location. But then again, this is in Westerville.

Clothes Mentor is one of my favorite shops. It has great selection, with great quality clothing. Also great prices for the brands that are there. The staff is also so nice and helpful and I think they dress quite nicely. Just be mindful that this is a second-hand store, so if you bring things in to sell, they do have to make a profit and can't give you 100% of what you originally paid for it. Also, if they already have the same style of what you're trying to sell, they may pass on it. Keep onto it and bring it back in later and try again.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I brought in several suits worth (200-300 dollars a piece) that I had purchased last year from Anne Taylor, Saks, etc. And after waiting 2 hours for the staff to review my items, I was told by the women behind the counter (who was dressed in clothes that looked like they came from the Walmart clearance bin I might add) that they were going to pass as my items were out of date. Do not waste your time and energy at this store. Despite being a second hand store located in a strip mall, this store seems unbelievably snotty (despite the plastic hangers and staff dressed like a bargain bin fashion show) I would normally not give my clothes being passed over a second thought, but when the rejection comes from someone whose entire outfit costs less than my left shoe... I'm just saying.
