It was a great adventure finding this lovely antique shop in the center of Historic downtown Westerly ..I just happen to be in the store when the dissatisfied customers were complaining about the post cards .Which are in order of states an not by towns in each state . The owner was very kind to these customers , some times you just can't please everyone .. We will come back again and again ...

It was a great adventure finding this lovely antique shop in the center of Historic downtown Westerly ..I just happen to be in the store when the dissatisfied customers were complaining about the post cards .Which are in order of states an not by towns in each state . The owner needs some lessons in manners. When my friend asked if her Post Cards were in any particular order she snapped: "Do I look like I have time to do that?! Do you see them organized at any other antique store?!" (actually, yes I do, at every shop I've been to) My friend asks: "So, how do you know where to find a particular state or town?" And then the piece de resistance ..... "Can you read?" mind you my friend and I are well educated, well dressed, middle aged women with money to spend, NOT HERE. My friend took the higher road and politely thanked her. Me? I let my fingers fly.

Business had a fair diversity of antiques and collectibles. Unfortunately the pricing of most items was well above the antique market rate for the specific items and the owner was found to be most unfriendly and disagreeable. The most unpleasant antiquing experience I have had in 22 years of collecting.
