Since 1900, Saunders Brothers has been a manufacturer of wooden dowels, dowel pins and other custom wood products. The firm manufactures a variety of wood turnings, specializing in wood dowel pins in metric and fractional sizes, multi-grooved or spiral. It operates through a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Locke Mills, Maine, producing many other wood products in addition to dowel pins. Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) have given Saunders Brothers the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Certification.
