i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseI called to make an appointment with Profilo Day Spa on Tuesday as I was traveling and in need of some relaxation. I wanted to get a manicure, pedicure, and my hair highlighted and cut. I called in asking the normal questions; What are your hours and availability? Do you accept walk-ins or can I make an appointment for this evening or tomorrow? The man who answered the phone told me he could do my hair if I came right down but the person who does nails is gone for the day. I told the man that I would like to come down for my hair, but I asked if there were any places that he knew of for the manicure and pedicure as I wasn't sure if my schedule would be free the next day for it. He seemed shocked and annoyed at my question and asked me to hold on while he asked. He asked a woman near him, I could hear them talking and she asked him if he was serious in a sarcastic tone. He got back to me on the phone and asked where I was located. I told him I was right down the road at a hotel, and he started laughing and then he hung up on me. I was so turned off by the experience that I ended up going to the store to get myself some at home pedicure/manicure products and did it myself. The staff is rude and I wouldn't expect that a staff employee would be so offensive as to hang up on a potential customer simply because they asked them to recommend another place due to scheduling conflicts. I will never walk into this place being treated that way.
