Our horses, our heritage, our future !

General Info

WildHorseandBurro.org is the first national platform built exclusively for wild horse and burro people and organizations - in order to share information, events, viewpoints and create solutions. It is the first ever, "user-driven" national community site. It is constructed for the purpose of sharing instructional materials, participating in forums, making connections (friends) with others and coordinating events. Everyone will have a voice! News articles will come from member submissions as well as private and government groups. Our goal is to enable members to come up with solutions to the problems currently affecting our wild horses and burros - not only for their local region but nationally as well. Time is of the essence! We need to find answers on how to end senseless roundups - create humane answers to over-population - provide owners with the best resources - find good homes for the swelling numbers currently in captivity - and create a sense of pride in having the opportunity to have one of these wonderful animals.

Amenities
You can view and contact other people and organizations within each state; access the latest regional news and events. You can use your Facebook login or email address to register. Government as well as private adoption and sale events will also be posted. Aside from internal website maintenance and administrative duties, the site was built to be run by it's users. It's presence will bring the issues affecting our wild horses and burros into the mainstream, bring like minded people together, and allow them to discuss and coordinate events and find solutions for their own areas.
