A neurologist is a physician with specialized medical training in disorders of the nervous system: the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. All of our physicians are board certified in neurology. Board certification requires at least three years of training (in addition to four years of medical school; and one year of internship) in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the nervous system.
