Founded in 1964, the Palm Beach County Division of Human Services offers veterans-related, emergency assistance and intervention services. The division administers the Summer Camp Scholarship Program, which includes financial assistance for children of low-income families. It also offers housing support, assessment and transition services. In addition, the Palm Beach County Division of Human Services provides educational and recreational programs to children. Located in West Palm Beach, Fla., the division operates a toy shop that stocks donated toys. The Palm Beach County Division of Human Services offers case management services that include problem solving and home repair assistance. The division is a part of the Community Services Department, which provides financial and employment services.
