General Info
Licensed & Insured. Providing Emergency Services! Fall is upon us! The best time to prune oak trees is during the winter dormant season, which is typically from late fall to early spring. Pruning during this time reduces the risk of disease and insect infestation, and allows the tree to heal more easily. Here are some reasons why pruning during the winter is best: Avoid oak wilt: Pruning during the spring or summer can increase the risk of oak wilt, a deadly fungal disease that spreads through open wounds. When you trim a tree, it excretes sap, which can attract beetles that carry oak wilt. Reduce stress on the tree: Pruning during the dormant season minimizes stress on the tree. Compartmentalize wounds: Oak trees are better able to compartmentalize wounds and heal during the dormant season.

Horrible! I received an estimate and he seemed to really know what he was talking about.I had a lot of bushes that needed sprayed and removed but didn't get nearly what I wanted sprayed due to the neighbors property. This issue was never discussed at the estimate. Also wanted 4 trees cut down and removed but only got 3. The guys that showed up to do the job where very unprofessional and left a lot of debris on my driveway. My husband and myself could have done this work ourselves but wanted it professionally done. The work was discounted $275 but still not worth the $1000 charged. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
