The Exponent s primary mission is to serve the undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff and residents of the Purdue University community by seeking out and providing a news service with diverse information. The newspaper also offers a forum for discussion of campus, community, state, United States and world events that affect its audience. As an educational institution, The Exponent educates Purdue students by providing experience in the execution of the evolving responsibilities in newspaper publication. The students receive vocational training in business, management, journalism, advertising sales and production. The Exponent is located West Lafayette, Ind.
