Founded in 1902 at Miami University, Delta Zeta is a national sorority that promotes education and personal and leadership development. The sorority is comprised of more than 150 national collegiate chapters, as well as over 180 alumnae chapters that offer continuing association throughout the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. It focuses primarily on philanthropy work for speech and hearing causes through partnerships with The Painted Turtle and The Starkey Hearing Foundation. Delta Zeta s chapters also support speech and hearing institutions, including Gallaudet University and the House Ear Institute. The sorority publishes and distributes LAMP, its official magazine, which reports the service work of both its alumnae and volunteer chapters. It also maintains the Delta Zeta Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for scholarships. Delta Zeta is headquartered in Oxford, Ohio.
