Prior to the regionalization of the foodservice brokerage industry, SalesWest Marketing provided the best talent, represented the finest products, cared more for the success of the operator and the struggling distributor sales rep, and flat out kicked more donkey than any other brokerage firm in the western US. The current consolidated list of regional and national brokers has yet to achieve SalesWest's standard. The industry should go back to independent agencies and follow the SalesWest model.
