- General SurgeryDr. John W. Hsu is originally from Kansas and received his medical degree at the University of Kansas. He then completed his surgical training at Truman Medical Center, a level I trauma center in Kansas City, Missouri. He went on to specialty training in Transplant Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of the fellowship, he has practiced a wide breadth of General Surgery. His interests include gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery, GI surgery, endocrine surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, dialysis access surgery and treatment of varicose veins. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, and the Vascular Access Society of the Americas.
- Minimally Invasive SurgeryLaparoscopic Surgery (also known as minimally invasive surgery) is used when performing many surgeries. The benefits of laparoscopic surgeries are quicker recovery and less pain for the patient along with les visible scarring. Examples include laparoscopic hernia repairs, appendectomies and gallbladder surgery.

- LaparoscopyDr. John Simon is a board certified surgeon, serving the community for over 25 years. In 1988 he joined a group that has been continuously practicing since 1909. Dr. Simon has performed over 1,000 colon surgeries, over 1.800 hernia procedures, over 1,000 laparoscopic gallbladder surgeries, and a broad range of abdominal procedures using both open and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. John Simon has served as a Department Chair in surgery and he served as a past President of the Suffolk County Medical Society and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also the founder and President of the Long Island Laparoscopy Society. He is an adjunct clinical faculty at NYCOM and Clinical Assistant Professor of Hofstra School of Medicine.
- Breast ReconstructionBreast Cancer Surgery including Nipple Sparing and Skin Sparing Cancer procedures, Lymph Node preserving procedures to prevent lymphedema, Breast Conservation Surgery (lumpectomy) and Breast Reconstruction.

- Laparoscopic SurgeryDr. Thomas started his medical career as an Air Force flight medic. He comes to us after completing undergraduate studies at Rutgers University and medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. This was followed by General Surgery residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. Dr. Thomas is a General Surgeon with special interest in Laparoscopic Surgery, hernia and breast surgery.
