Dr. Vatche Yousefian obtained his doctorate degree in physical therapy (DPT) from the Department of Physical Therapy and Biokinesiology of the University of Southern California, one of the top physical therapy programs in the nation. When Dr. Yousefian graduated, he was recognized with awards by the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy's National Honor Society; the Order of the Golden Cane for clinical excellence and leadership in the field; and the Order of Arete for his notable contributions in the field, in his studies, and in the community at large. He has experience in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedic, post-surgical protocols, vestibular rehabilitation, balance recovery, persistent pain, spinal cord injury, and acquired brain injury. His last clinical affiliation was at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, where he advanced his skills in gait mechanics, stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), post-COVID syndrome, amputations, ankle-foot-orthoses (AFOs), and fall recovery.
