Great instructors who are both knowledgeable and loving! This is a terrific place if you are looking for caring environment to teach your children discipline and focus while having fun! So grateful to be part of their family!

My daughter has been part of Popkin/Brogna Jujitsu Center since she was 5 (she is now 10 and holding a green belt). This is not an ordinary dojo. Its program is designed to learn martial arts, built self confidence and and having fun while at it. It is never boring to come to the dojo !! We have parent/student nights where we as parents practice with Sensei the Tecnics learned throughout the week. The have themes night, party nights, drop off night (in case you need to escape for a few hours ?)..... and.... THIS IS MY DOJO FAMILY

We love this Dojo!! My son (8yrs old) has been coming for the past nine months. All the staff is super friendly and the community is amazing. My son has built his confidence, stamina, respect and self discipline. There are events once a month that he loves to attend. My suggestion is to try out the 6 weeks and if you are like us you will join before your 6 weeks is even up. We love it here! Beautiful space, roomy, clean and friendly.

My daughter started jujitsu a few months ago and she's been having such an amazing time. Not only is she excelling in class, but she's been able to stand up for herself which was a skill we really wanted to work on. A West Hempstead staple! Not only are they an awesome dojo, but Popkin-Brogna supports our local schools and PTA. We joined the dojo family after attending a fundraiser event for our local PTA. The warm family atmosphere drew us in, and we've been there ever since. They support our small community, and provide a safe and supportive place for our children to learn and grow. My daughter is gaining independence and self-confidence, while becoming more physically fit and having fun! I highly recommend joining the family. You won't be disappointed!

So proud of my little one who was just promoted to orange belt at Popkin-Brogna Jujitsu Center. Over the past year since joining, I have seen my angel grow in so many positive ways, one of the most important is confidence. Given the current environment where we are seeing why it is so important for women to have their own voice, its essential to teach our girls BEFORE they become women, to have their own voice and advocate for themselves!!!

I love this Dojo. From Day 1 they make you feel welcomed and part of the family. Just sitting watching how they interact with the kids shows their passion and dedication to the art of Jujitsu. My son has been attending PBJC for about a year now. He started at only 3 and a half years old and has been the youngest in the group, but was given a chance after a trial run. It is amazing to see the growth and improvement he has displayed in such a short time. Each sensei has their own style of teaching and while they are all different, the passion they have for martial arts is very clear. Working with children of all ages requires a lot of patience and they do a great job when it comes to both having fun and providing discipline at the same time. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is considering martial arts for their child.

We love coming here! Best place for your child to learn martial arts and values like respect, responsibility, discipline and hard work. Family oriented place. Instructors are experts in training kids in different levels. Kids are learning and having fun at the same time.

Wow - this dojo has it all! Clean and welcoming, the physical space is HUGE and can accommodate students of all levels, beginner to advanced. Our kids have been very impressed so far - come try it out, you'll be amazed!

Best dojo in west Hempstead. The staff is awesome. The kids love coming here and the senseis are super cool. Your kids will learn many skills and boost their confidence. The staff really connects with the kids and they are always having fun and learning techniques

This is a great martial arts center. Not only they train students in martial arts but they make sure their emotional and pshycological well being of the students are also addressed. They prepare the kids how to handle the real world outside. Sensei Steve, Howard and Joe are excellent in handling children in different age group. Sempai Stephanie is awesome. They genuinely care for every students. I am highly recommending this place !

This is an amazing martial arts center. All of the Sensei are not only great teachers in the art of Jujitsu but provide life lessons for children of all ages. Popkin-Brogna Jujitsu Center is not just a jujitsu center. This jujitsu center is full of energy and confidence. Sensei Howard, Joe, Steve, and Sempai Stephanie are amazing...they are not just instructors they are great people.

Popkin-Brogna Jujitsu Center has been a wonderful place for both of my boys. Each week I watch them grow in so many ways- self-confidence, strength, respect, self discipline, and perseverance. All of the values we try to teach them at home are reinforced at the dojo, and best of all they are having a blast! All of the senseis are awesome and encourage the kids to work hard, set goals, and achieve! This has been our best money spent!
